Some Amazing Facts About Twitter!!!

Hey that's 28th May 2021 and I am again here to tell you some amazing facts this time about Twitter. The most important part of social media so let's move forward and see what amazing this about Twitter.

So let's get started!!!

 1. Approximately 350,000 tweets are posted every minute on Twitter. And that's for a day it was approximately 500 million tweets per day(5 crores).

That's massive 5 crores(500 million) tweets every day that was unbelieveable. Just think how they manage their servers....😤😤

2. The hashtag(#) was discoverd in 2007 by Chris Messina of the view that people can easily find the content on social media by this # and later on got very popular all over the the world.

That was pretty amazing that an # made life on social media easy and simple. Later on used by many other social medai platforms like: Facebook, Youtube, instagram,etc..

3. The famous blue bird of Twitter has name known as Larry. Altough Twitter's beginnings were back in 2006, Larry's name wasn't actually confirmed until early 2012.

That was pretty amazing and interesting as well the famous bird was known as Larry!!!👱👱😁 .

4. Katy Perry has the most number of followers on twitter as of 2019 the followers of Katy Perry was 107 million and become the most following person on twitter.

That was amazing 107 million(1 crore 70 lakh) followers was unbelieveable.😒

5.The very first tweet was post on twitter was posted on 21st March 2006 at 9:50 pm. Which was tweet by Jack Dorsey they wrote "Just setting my twttr"

That was amazing and interesting as well isn't it .
