So let's get started!!! 1. The DRDO was established in 1958 by amalgamating the defence science organisation and some technical development establishments. The DRDO started his first project in surface to air missiles(SAM) known as project indigo in the 1960s. That was pretty amazing that an organisation was set-up to overview the defence and reserches parts. But it's first project mission indigo was crushed within an year. 2. The ISRO was established in 1969 exactly 11 years before DRDO formed. That was amazing that two main organisation was formed with the motive to develope INDIA and INDIANS. 3.
